Nursamsu knows the jungle of Rimbang Baling in Riau like the back of his hand. He has been going in and out of the jungle to patrol the area since 2005. The 42-year-old man keeps an eye for signs of illegal activities that could threaten the existence of the Sumatran tigers (Panthera tigris sumatrae), the last tiger subspecies in Indonesia.
