HE was Rafi Auzar, 14. When his home in Punge was swept away by the tsunami at the end of 2004, his life totally changed. He suffered from malnutrition.
He was found with his father in a temporary shelter in Lhoong Raya, Baiturrahman district, Banda Aceh. He could not speak, but a camera was able to catch his eyes, which seemingly were talking to his dad. He was winking, glancing sideways, gazing and so forth.
