MARTHEN Renouw, alias Reno, deserved to be named as a permanent cop in Papua. Having been a policeman for 29 years, this man, born in Mun, Tual, Maluku on February 6, 1956, has never once left Papua. Despite superiors coming and going, Reno remained assigned to Jayapura. With such a long history in the job, it is not surprising that Reno formed many relationships, including with timber tycoons.

Before becoming a police officer, Reno started work a
