BEDONO village on the Demak coast already has an intimate relationship with mangroves. Their roots, however, are not strong yet.

Without mangroves, Bedono would have already been eaten away by the waves. Previously, Abrasion has caused half of it to disappear, said Asror, Bedono village secretary, last Wednesday.
