Indicting a Dream

WHEN she left for Saudi Arabia in 2005, Titim Fatimah had a sweet dream. She planned to build a small house in her home town, Kampung Muara, Jambenenggang, Kebonpedes, Sukabumi, after returning from working abroad.
However, this dream has never become a reality. In Jeddah, Titim was forced to work 24 hours a day. For her meals, she was given only instant noodles. When she ran away from her employer’s home she met two men who later raped her.
