- In the TEMPO interview with the First Lady (January 22, 2001 edition), it said: At the beginning of last December, the Japanese government presented her with a special honor in Okinawa for her efforts to help women victims of abuse… It should have read: At the beginning of last December, the Japanese government invited her as the main speaker in Okinawa to a seminar on the role of NGOs in battling contagious diseases."
