Celibacy is not God’s law

HANS Küng together with Joseph Alois Ratzinger (now Pope Benedict XVI) were once theological consultants in the reform movement of the Second Vatican Council of the Roman Catholic Church, from 1962 through 1965. At the time both were the youngest members of the council. Together they were once lecturers at Tübingen University, Germany.
