THE execution was held one afternoon in a field in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Thousands watched as the executioner swung the sword, decapitating the convicted 31-year-old. The trial went quickly, just three months after the convicted party, Faisal bin Musaid, had shot and killed his uncle. The uncle he had killed was none other than King Faisal, ruler of Saudi Arabia from 1964-1975.
