Giving a speech at a welcome dinner organized by the US Ambassador to Indonesia, Joseph Donovan Jr. in Jakarta, last September, Susan Schultz became the ¡®star' of the event. A Foreign Service Officer for the last 20 years, Ms. Shultz is the new Counselor for Public Affairs.

To the audience’s surprise, instead of speaking English, Ms Shultz gave her speech in fluent Indonesian. In fact, she came to Indonesia two decades ago during her holiday
