Indonesian scientists develop radar technology equal to imported products.

THE size of the radar is not that big. Its height is not much taller than an adult. Its width is almost as wide as two outstretched arms. This radar, which from a distance looks like a projector screen with four legs, was swarmed by onlookers when it was displayed at the Center for Development of Applied Technology of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) in Subang, West Jawa, last August 20, on the 42nd anniversary of the institute.
