What can free us from greed?

I was sitting in the audience of 800 the night of the concert to honor the two winners of the Nobel Prize for Peace in 2007 at the Oslo Spectkum Concert Hall. On the brightly-lit stage stood Al Gore beside Rajendra Pachauri, the Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

Not many had heard of the 67-year-old Indian before. His long hair and beard, white-streaked on the left, gave his face a sc
