Rebuilding Kotagede from Ruins
The culturally protected Kotagede, devastated by the earthquake, is rebuilt. Local community is involved and original materials still worth using are utilized.

THE joglo (traditional Javanese house) with the limasan roof (a roof with four of its sides meeting at one point, a characteristic of the roof shape of a traditional Javanese house) in Kampung Kudusan, Jagalan, Kotagede, stands imposingly.
