The wood stretched for 13 kilometers, stacked up to 2.5 meters high in places. Police found tens of thousands of illegally cut logs in the forest of Indragiri Hilir. It was said to be illegal because it was cut down from the open forest, not from an industrial timber estate. It was much more than allowed, so it was cordoned off with police tape.
