As the rainy season brought along the flooding with it, Old Man Tado in Lower Cawang, West Jakarta wades through waist-high waters to pull his homemade raft, made of a piece of plywood over empty plastic jerry-cans, carrying his granddaughter to school. Almost every year during the monsoon villages like this one are flooded for days.
