A movement spear-headed by T. Muhammad Zulfikar finally resulted in a major case ending up in court. In December, the State Administrative Court of Banda Aceh opened the trial of the Rawa Tripa case. This was a lawsuit filed by the Executive Director of the Indonesian Forum for the Environment (Walhi) in Aceh and his colleagues against Aceh Governor Irwandy Yusuf.
