THE bell that marked the end of the semester exams at State Senior High School (SMAN) 3 Manokwari, West Papua, had rung more than half an hour ago. Only four female students wearing blue batik uniforms remained at school, chatting with each other in one of its corners. Krisye Kloudia Adimin, the Deputy Principal of SMAN 3 Manokwari who was walking around the school grounds, approached them that Thursday afternoon, December 1.
