Fire rages within his chest. He is truly furious. In the depths of East Kalimantan, 600 kilometers from Samarinda, the company from Jakarta is creating a huge disaster in his village: cutting down trees, filling rivers with earth, destroying tribal land (tanah adat) and their ancestors' cemetery. The heavy machinery of PT Kalhold Utama roars through each day, turning the jungle into an industrial plantation. The year: 1993.
