In the vocabulary of terrorism, they are called “grooms.” But these men are on their way to no wedding. Instead, they are preparing to die—as suicide bombers—widely considered in such circles to be a short-cut to heaven. These individuals have been taught that with a single blast, they can become one giant step closer to a flock of heavenly brides.
