SMOKE billows in the forested area intentionally set on fire for corn farming in the Tekasire Hill, Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Thursday, November 2. According to data from the NTB Provincial Environment and Forestry Office, a total of 96,238.24 hectares of deforested land is scattered across nine regencies, including West Lombok (12,330), Central Lombok (6,686), North Lombok (4,299), East Lombok (9,002), West Sumbawa (53), Sumbawa (30,291), Dompu (16,690), Bima (15,790), and Bima City (1,093).
