A GRAY langur (Trachypithecus cristatus) rests in a canal dried out by a fire in Rantau Panjang village, Muaro Jambi, Jambi, Thursday, August 29. The fire, which started on Friday, August 23, has caused this endemic animal to lose its natural habitat. The fire has also spread to three villages, namely Rantau Panjang, Rondang, and Londrang, burning at least 1,000 hectares of land, with firefighting efforts still ongoing. ANTARA/Wahdi Septiawan
