A STAFF member of the South Sulawesi Cultural Heritage Preservation Center points to several prehistoric paintings in Liang Metanduno cave in the karst area of prehistoric Kobori cave of inscriptions in Lohia subdistrict, Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, Tuesday, March 21. Records by the South Sulawesi Cultural Heritage Preservation Center put the initial number of prehistoric caves at 48 locations and estimate the age of the paintings in the caves to be around 40,000 years old.
