WORKERS finalize the repair of houses to be used as Temporary Shelters (Huntara) for residents affected by relocation in Bida Tiga Housing Complex, Sambau Nongsa, Batam, Riau Islands, September 28. BP Batam is preparing ground-level houses, apartments, and shop-houses for the temporary shelter of residents affected by the first phase of the Rempang Eco-City National Strategic Project on Rempang Island. They are also providing a living allowance of Rp1.2 million (around US$77) per person and house rent of Rp1.2 million per month during the waiting period for the construction of the permanent residences.
