THE bank account worth Rp546 billion at Permata Bank had been dormant for 10 years, but it has caught the attention of many parties.

Last week, top officials of the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) ordered that the half a trillion rupiah account must immediately be transferred to the AGO’s bank account. “That money is being held in trust,” said Marwan Effendy, Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes, to Tempo, on Wednesday last week.
