WILLIAM Soeryadjaya, the founder of PT Astra International—Indonesia’s largest retail automotive company—passed away on Friday last week aged 87 at Medistra Hospital, Jakarta. His body was later taken to the Gatot Soebroto Central Army Hospital (RSPAD). People of all walks of life came to the RSPAD to pay their last respects to the deceased who was fondly called Oom William. His remains will be cremated at Tangerang’s Oasis Lestari Cremat
