FOR the past two weeks the turbine at Lontar Steam Power Plant (PLTU) Unit I in Tangerang regency, Banten, has been idle. The last performance test prior to commercial operations of the power plant built by PT PLN, the consortium of Dongfang Electric Corporation, China and PT Dalle Energy, that should have been done at the end of last month was cancelled.
