The name of Romo Mangun is still very much idealized and respected among the younger generation of architects. There are still many who create works in the “Romomangunesque” style.

THE title of the book is interesting: Mimpi Rumah Murah (The Dream of a Cheap House). The author is a young architect only 33 years old, named Yu Sing. He is short and thin with long hair reaching to his shoulders—occasionally he bushes it aside as he speaks. His enthusiasm however is enormous.
