Four architects from UGM designed a structure to clean the waters of the Ciliwung River. They won second place in the Skyscraper 2010 architecture contest.

THREE years ago, Jakarta Governor Sutiyoso inaugurated river transportation on the 1.7-kilometer route of Halimun-Karet floodgate. Swayed by the current of the West Flood Canal aboard a boat carrying 28 people, the passengers might just as well dream of cruising the Grande Canal, Venice, on a gondola.
