Mass Weddings On Board

Tuesday, April 26, 2016

Twenty-one couples took their vows inside a Boeing 737 airplane at the High School for Airspace Technology (STTKD) in Bantul, Yogyakarta, this month, proving there is no wrong way to tie the knot.

The mass weddings were held as part of Simultaneous Airspace Marriage, an event put on to mark the 21st anniversary of the STTKD. There were two groups of participants-10 disabled couples and 11 others who met on the dating service run by Bantul Fortais. "This event is the first of its kind in the world," bragged head Ryan Budi Nuryanto.
