WITHOUT an adventurous spirit and courage to explore new grounds and delve deeper on the part of artists, art will wither. Crassa Minerva, a plump Minerva, as an old Latin expression has it for art thats no longer attractive. Minerva, in Roman mythology, is the Goddess of Wisdom. Shes beautiful and slim.
