FROM this place Johan Galtung, a peace philosopher from Switzerland, and a number of other philosophers from Japan, Germany, and France, were captivated when they saw Lake Kintamani, Bali. They were mesmerized at the panorama of Trunyan village and the caldera of Mount Batur. This place is Toyabungkah. A place once Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana dreamed of turning into a center of future art.
International-level discussions on culture were held there.
