WE ARE LUCKY, we have "emptiness" in our world because we have art to give us meaning. If there were no emptiness, how would Rusli paint? "Empty" is a concept that is anthema to Rusli. "People only see forms, but doesn't see something besides that. Man only knows what is small. So, people always say it is empty. Actually it is not, because life is also there," he once said.
