Using only simple technology and concepts from Indonesian shadow puppetry, wayang kulit, the Double 6 collective from France produce a mesmerizing shadow play to enjoy.

A small gauze screen is set above the stage at Theatre Luwes, a part of the Jakarta Art Institute. When this screen is positioned center stage in traditional shadow puppet shows, flashes of shadows, jumpy movements, stiffly folded arms and legs fill the stage.
