Taken right off the pages of the magazine and exhibited without the usual context, drawings from Tempo's legendary cartoonists still manage to be highly communicative.

A rare exhibition is currently going on at Cipta III Gallery in Taman Ismail Marzuki, Central Jakarta. Drawings and graphics are on display alongside applied works in the form of books, illustrations, advertisements, caricatures and magazine cover images. Most of the applied graphics come from the pages of Tempo magazine.
