Art is a way to celebrate life and the possibilities of tomorrow. Such a sentiment could be keenly felt at ArtJog 8, the annual event in Yogyakarta, which was begun in 2007 at the initiative of Heri Pemad.
At the opening of this year's edition, no less than 3,000 viewers crowded the courtyard of Taman Budaya Yogyakarta, whose facade had been transformed into a vertical garden.
