A statue of General Sudirman has been installed on Jalan Sudirman, Jakarta, ahead of the statues of 34 other national heroes.

PAK Dirman is giving a salute with his right hand. His left hand is pressed onto a walking stick. A kris (a Javanese dagger) protrudes from his long robe that seems to be blown by the wind. This 6-meter-tall statue, with a black ceramic base, stands with its back facing a line of leafy trees in the median strip of Jalan Sudirman. Its exact spot is at the Dukuh Atas area, in front of the BNI building.
