The missing Kudu statue from Bima Temple has been discovered. The thief remains a mystery.

A FADED cardboard box lay innocently behind a thicket. Left unattended it drew attention. Upon closer examination, a stone carving of a human head popped out of the box which was strapped carelessly with raffia string. The Dieng archaeological site guards who discovered it last Monday could immediately identify it. It was part of the Kudu statue that went missing on October 31—four days earlier—from Bima Temple, Dieng, Central Java.
