Begum Fatia, 25, had spent the day weeping. While in pursuit by the tatmadaw, or Myanmar soldiers, as well as some Rakhine residents along the Naf River, Begum was well aware that she had lost the man she had just married, her five younger siblings, and both parents. She had lived in a village in the Maungdaw District in Rakhine, Myanmar.
After she had safely crossed the river separating Myanmar and Bangladesh, Begum fainted on several occasion
