A group of Muslim leaders in Singapore are fighting against extremism in the country by reaching out to ‘radical’ detainees, their families as well as the Muslim community.

Salim Mohammed Nasir welcomed his guests at a gallery located on the premises of the Khadijah Mosque in Geylang, Singapore. He showed them a peaceful greeting written on the wall: Peace be upon you, followed by an assalamu’alaikum.
