SAM RAINSY, founder of the party bearing his name, has lived in exile in Paris, France since 2015. His political activities as an opposition leader in Cambodia forced him to flee his homeland. He became an exile to avoid the threat of imprisonment after being accused of insulting Prime Minister Hun Sen. "This is not the first time I was forced into exile," he said when Tempo interviewed him three weeks ago.
