A Call for ASEAN Resolve on Burma

WITH Myanmar’s referendum on the military junta-backed constitution just a month away, regional and world attention is again being drawn to that reclusive Southeast Asian nation formerly known as Burma. After more than a year of convening hand-picked delegates to represent the country’s diverse ethnic and political groups, the Yangon government declared that it was ready to implement its version of the ‘roa
