Seeking Bends on a Straight Road

Only a few of the many fine-art events through 2002 managed to make a strong impression and leave a mark. Without belittling the efforts and achievements of our own artists, some of the most imaginative, inspiring and thought-provoking fine-art displays were those from abroad. However, it is worth noting that the credit for selecting such quality exhibitions goes, in no small measure, to our curators.
