Ode to Indonesia and Indonesians

LIKE a disease—benign or malignant—having to run its course, a nation must endure its own development pangs as history repeats itself and Indonesia and Indonesians are not spared.

Having worked in and throughout Indonesia and from Singapore, I have had the opportunity of seeing and taking in swathes of Indonesia, meeting and mingling with a good cross-section of the society from all walks of life
