THE uptight atmosphere in the vice-presidential palace's meeting room began to ease. In one corner, Nurmadini Arafanti, a student from the Bogor Agricultural Institute, directed a biting question at Vice President Hamzah Haz, asking: "How many wives do you have, Sir?"
