THE roads leading to Seri Aman in Sarawak, Malaysia, have been packed with convoys of trucks of late. Large trucks drive by almost every five minutes, filling the road with barely enough room for two vehicles to pass. Some carry no license plates. Local people easily identify the unlicensed carriers as Malaysian trucks.
