IN its effort to create a clean and transparent government, Indonesia will need to emulate developed nations. Compared to similar developing nations, such as the Philippines and Thailand, we have been defeated by a long shot.
These nations have even felt the need to include sections stipulating the importance of government officials being clean and free of any conflict of interest in their respective constitutions.
