THE controversy over the withdrawal of Tommy Suharto’s­ money from the London branch of Bank Paribas has dragged down the name of State Secre­tary Yusril Ihza Mahendra. Yusril, who at that time was Justice & Legal Affairs Minister, was reported to have issued the letter of recommendation which released the money from the Paribas vaults.
