One by one the legal cases against Suharto have fallen by the wayside. A breakthrough is needed.

LAST Monday, the main courtroom of the South Jakarta District Court seemed nearly deserted. On that day, a civil lawsuit of the State versus the Supersemar Foundation and former President Suharto was supposed to be heard. It was estimated that the case would be settled after about two more hearings.
