THE film Fitna produced by Dutch politician Geert Wilders, has triggered negative reactions. It is seen to be anti-Islamic. The 17-minute film is a compilation of video cuts from television news items, verses from the Qur’an and sermons by Muslim leaders. Ahmad Suaedy, Executive Director of the Jakarta-based Wahid Institute, a progressive Islamic think tank, shares his comments on the film.
