Peace in Parakansalak, Sukabumi, was broken when an Ahmadiyah mosque was burnt to the ground.

MAK Ikah, 58, started wailing when she saw copies of her Qur’an burnt by the raging flames. A member of the Ahmadiyah sect, Mak Ikah quickly went to Mimi Sumiati, 46, a fellow Ahmadiyah neighbor. The two hugged, crying uncontrollably. “They burnt the Qur’ans... they burnt the Qur’ans...” was all that was heard amid their sobbing.
