THE Indonesia Stock Exchange had an important agenda on Monday last week. A meeting attended by exchange members had to decide whether shares in PT Bumi Resources Tbk should still be traded or stopped. Since trading was restarted on Thursday the previous week, the share price of the company belonging to the Bakrie Group continued to fall. Only the exchange’s 10 percent auto rejection regulation stopped Bumi shares from falling even further.
